HEIC is the photo format of iPhones and iPads. It keeps files about half the size of JPEG at the same quality, but Windows and many websites don't open it. This page turns your HEIC photos into JPG, which every device and website understands.
The converter applies the orientation of each photo, so it stays the right way up. The JPG is saved at high quality (92%). JPG loses a little quality compared with the original, and its files are bigger than HEIC, so expect the JPG copies to take more space.
If you have a lot of photos, you don't need to pick them one by one. Choose or drop the whole folder of photos from your phone and convert them together. There is no size limit other than the memory of your device. Once the page is open, it keeps working offline.
The conversion runs in your browser. Safari decodes HEIC by itself, and so do Chrome and Edge through the system video decoder. If your browser can't decode the photo itself, the photo goes to our servers to be converted instead.
