WebM is a video format made for the web. Browsers and YouTube use it a lot. The trouble starts when you try to use that file somewhere else. An iPhone, PowerPoint or a video editor may refuse to open it. MP4 is the fix, because it plays on every phone, computer, TV and website.
This page is handy for two kinds of files. One is a screen recording that your browser or a recording tool saved as WebM. The other is a video you downloaded from a website. Add the file, start the conversion and download the MP4 when it is ready.
Your file is sent to our servers over an encrypted connection and converted there. Files can be up to 100 MB. One hour after the conversion, the file is deleted automatically, and nobody looks at it. You can add several files at once, so a whole folder of recordings does not need to be done one by one.
There is no sign-up, no e-mail to enter and no watermark on the result. It works in any modern browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iPhone. If your video is bigger than 100 MB, the converter will not take it as it is.
