  3. 3

Upload a JPG with text on it, such as a photo of a page or a scan, and the converter reads that text and puts it into a DOCX file. Use it for a photographed letter, a scanned form or a page from a book. You can then open the result in Word, fix words, change styles and add your own text instead of typing everything again.

The reading is done by neural recognition, which handles printed text and simple tables. If it can't be used, a free recognizer takes over. The text is read in the language of this page, so choose a picture with text in that language.

Tables are the weak spot. Simple ones come through, but if your picture is mostly a table, it is better to take it to Excel with JPG to Excel.

Your file is sent over an encrypted connection and converted on our servers. Files can be up to 100 MB, and you can add several at once. Each file is deleted automatically one hour after the conversion, and nobody looks at them.
